About the Site Design
This is an original design created and coded by me. The dragon illustration was an open source vector graphic that I found online. Inspiration for my design came from many sources but a few sites and people had a significant impact on this design so I will mention them here:
Dan Huber, ImageWorks Studio Creative Director:
Dan is an awesome designer and my personal Photoshop trainer… I attempted to “borrow” his typographic style to give my site visual clarity. The other major influence he had on my design is the use of natural colors typically I like to stick with more vibrant colors. However, I really like the calm tone of many of Dan’s designs so I opted for a darker more natural pallet and I’m really pleased with the results. Thanks Dan!

I think the major breakthrough for me in choosing this design came from viewing the Studio 7 website. Although, I was careful not to imitate their design I took liberally from their layouts positioning. What I really like about this site is the vertical panels and subtle yet effective framing.
